Journal Entry 2025-05-07

Today I procrastinated a lot and couldn’t focus on work related items. I mostly completed the task assigned and meeting arranged without going above and beyond. I read some article today that I should focus on enjoyable work and eliminate un-enjoyable work to ensure you go above and beyond. I will try to incorporate this more into my mentality as I continue to work to help me stay motivated. I was mainly distracted also because we were able to get through the offer for one of the house and that got me thinking about setting up the house and installing various things. Namely, I spent a lot of time learning about the composite material of a mattress and understanding the internal of the mattress. I had planned out a list of item to purchase to build my ideal mattress and find out some similar build mattress to test out some similar build in some box store.
