Notes Entry Grill
Features
From researching google and reddit the consensus is that the low end and mid end grill typically are primary dominated by Weber with higher end by Napoleon. Grill have many features including the following ranging from important to somewhat relevant.
- Regular fire grilling of meat on grates (stainless steel > cast iron > anything else)
- Fuel type (convenience: gas > coal)
- Heat rating (BTU)
- Ignition Button
- Side burner for some time to time pan cooking.
- Size of the grate and overall space of the cover
- Sear burn control (for more BTU in a concentrated area)
- Cooling rack
- Rotisserie functionality (i.e cooking large chicken)
Cleaning
Quoting some redditor
High heat after your cook to burn everything off, scrape with a grill brush, then if you want to get real fancy with it, dip a balled up paper towel in vegetable oil and use tongs to wipe down the grates. It’ll help stop rust from forming. Let it start to smoke and then turn off the heat. It’s the same process for a cast iron pan
