My First Post in Shuby’s Blog

Hi my name is Shuby Mao. In this blog, my goal is to start documenting some of the learnings from various experiences in the past and as they occurs. In this post, I will share some information about what I know currently and my experience level on some of the topic my blog will cover.

Data structure and algorithm, it is one of the key area I focused on during my undergrad university years. I will go over various algorithm from my learning and some mathematics along with it.

C++ specific knowledge sharing and experimentation results. How to write efficient cpp code and various technique to ensure code is both clean and does not regress performance in memory, cpu and p99 latency.

Machine learning and other AI topic. This will come up from time to time. I sometime experiment with some tools or system which will require the use of the machine learning or sees some knowledge from video or paper and will share through this blog to facilitate the learning and help other understand the topic.

Self Hosting and serving topics. I am very interested in learning about self hosting. I have a nas and a server at home to experiment with software like Proxmox, Docker, and host a wide range of application in my home.

My own life journal will also be documented on this blog where I share some of my daily life experience here. Hopefully doing so will help me get better at writing or at least get more comfortable writing about things.
